The agenda of the meeting included the presentation of “Finance in literature, art and cinema” elective courses by associate professor, L.Zh. Kudaibergenova, Ph.D. and senior lecturer Kazbekova K.M. Students learnt about new elective course that reveals the peculiarities of the formation of financial relations and related resources through classical and modern bestsellers in literature, art, documentary and fiction.
As part of the educational event, Azamat Utenov presented books on world of finance such as Theodor Dreiser’s ""The Financier"", Honore de Balzac’s ""Gobsek"", ""Father Goriot"", Johann Wolfgang Goethe ""Faust”, among others. Students raised many questions about the interrelation between the theory and practice of the financial world. The club meets regularly to discuss topical issues in Finance through the prism of books.
