Gender Economics Research Center (GERC) held the final online check-in meeting for 2021-2022 academic year research Fellows

On September 7, 2022, the Gender Economics Research Center (GERC), together with international and local experts, held the final (sixth) online check-in meeting for 2021-2022 academic year research Fellows in the framework of the scholarship programme “Care Economy in Kazakhstan” funded by the Soros Foundation-Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, the Fellows presented the research results and shared their impressions and observations obtained during research in the care sector.

After the Fellows’ presentations, the experts commented on the presented results and made recommendations for presenting these results at the annual Gender economic forum.

There were also discussed possible ways of further cooperation with the alumni of the scholarship programme.
