Narxoz University diplomas are recognized in Europe

Narxoz University has been accredited by FIBAA, the leading international (European) agency for the quality and expertise of higher education, and its diplomas are now recognized by universities and employers in Europe, as well as in the USA and China.

The recognition of Narxoz University by European standards put it on a par with leading European universities. This means that European level education is now available in Kazakhstan.
FIBAA is part of the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR) and is a member of the European Association (Network) for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA).

“Narxoz applied for two types of accreditation at once: institutional and program. From the very beginning, we were convinced that improving the quality of educational programs is impossible without the institutional development of the university. From my own experience, I can say that in practice it is much more difficult to pass institutional accreditation than program accreditation. This is probably why only a few universities have applied for FIBAA institutional accreditation, and not many have received it,” says Narxoz University President Miras Daulenov.

Narxoz has received unconditional institutional accreditation from FIBAA - this is the highest rating that universities in Europe can receive. FIBAA has also accredited the university's programs, including Accounting and Audit (BA, MA, PhD), Management (BA), Marketing (BA), Applied Finance (MA) and Law (BA).

Narxoz was evaluated by independent experts selected by FIBAA according to a strict system of subject criteria. Obtaining FIBAA accreditation for the Kazakhstani and European labor market means the high quality of graduates' knowledge.

“Unlike other accreditations, FIBAA is an evidence-based accreditation. Therefore, we had to constantly prove everything that we stated in the reports, in the Strategy. As you know, one of the main features of the German character is "order", in German "Ordnung". Therefore, during the interview, FIBAA experts double-checked everything that we indicated in the reports,” says the President of Narxoz.

The strategic goal is to achieve full international recognition of Narxoz by 2025, the university notes:

“This is a key step in fulfilling our mission, which is to provide talented young people from Central Asia with world-class education and applied research to support changes in society and the economy,” concluded Miras Daulenov.
