This program helps Kazakh students discover the banking industry. With us you will get practice, supplementing your theoretical knowledge of finance, economics, mathematics or even IT. And upon successful completion of the internship, you will be invited to the staff of ForteBank. We will tell you what is needed for this.
Three steps to success
You have already done the first one. This, of course, is the formation of personality. Set ambitious goals and achieve them? Are you open to people and can you become part of the team? Are you promoting what you believe in and accepting feedback? Then feel free to come to the selection! It consists of testing (we will check the educational base), a round table (we will solve practical cases) and an interview (the leader will talk with the best candidates).
The second step is the internship itself. Usually it is held in mass positions, such as a cashier, account manager, etc. We also welcome technical specialists, especially those in the Strategic Risks Division and the IT Block. You can become our trainee both at the Head Office (it is in Nur-Sultan), and at any of the branches.
What to expect? You will be assigned as an intern for 1 month and will be assigned to a mentor. It is he, as well as a functional business coach, who will teach the necessary products and processes. Having finished with the theory, you will work on a real project. According to its result and the conclusions of the mentor, the results of the internship are summed up.
The third step is acceptance. We invite the best interns to the staff with a trial period of 3 months. Work as it is - a lot of projects, a clear statement of tasks. However, a mentor will help you at this stage. It remains to be added that 95% of candidates successfully pass the probationary period.
They became the first
The Forte Next Generation program started in 2016 and has solid results. Over the years, we have recruited over 100 interns. Some of them have already made significant progress in their careers. For example, participants of the first internships: Adilet Kalen (Treasury Department, Leading Expert), Elvira Nazarova (Strategic Risks Department, Leading Expert), Yerasyl Borankul (Prime Banking Department, Senior Expert), Abyroy Zauyt (Credit Risks Department, Senior Expert).
- Ahead of the next flow of Forte Next Generation. What would you like for new interns?
Adilet: Don't think that you know everything. Every day we learn new things, and so it will be for the rest of our lives.
Elvira: But don't be afraid to look stupid! Have a question - ask. So you, on the contrary, show your curiosity. Be flexible and versatile. Ahead of meeting with a lot of people, and each needs its own approach. Also write down important moments. Unfortunately, memory sometimes fails.
Erasyl: Absorb like a sponge. Study in general terms the activities of the bank and each individual Direction. Make new acquaintances. When needed, I still seek advice from former mentors.
Abyroy: Good luck to our participants across the country! And for those guys who go to the Head Bank from other cities, I advise you to dress warmer.
