On October 10, 2024, event of the year for freshmen of Narxoz University – Narxoz Commencement 2024, took place at the Bakshasaray event hall.
The celebration will be remembered for a long time. From the very first moments of the event, guests were welcomed by a positive and energetic atmosphere, enhanced by the Red Bull Event-mobile named Cora. It immediately immersed participants in a world of bright emotions and energized them for the entire evening.
This year, the format of the ceremony was especially unique. Students competed in staging themed musicals, each revealing the specifics of their schools. The performances showcased the creativity of the first-year students and highlighted the importance of the professions they chose for society. This approach allowed students not only to get to know each other but also to demonstrate their talents.
To ensure an objective evaluation and selection of winners, a jury team was formed:
- Madi Rakhymbay – blogger and public figure;
- Kumis Bazarbaeva – Miss Universe titleholder;
- Turar Rakhimberlin – singer and author of youth anthems;
- Leila Kamalova – general producer of the Level Up festival;
- Kristina Tyugai – blogger, videographer, and freestyle dancer.
All first-year students received special Welcome Boxes – branded backpacks with notebooks, pens, and a congratulatory card from the President of Narxoz University, Kanat Kozhakmet. This symbolic gesture emphasized the university's support and the creation of an atmosphere of care and unity within the new student family.
The ceremony was also attended by blogger Tyuzeze, the director of Almaty Fight Academy Berik Kurakbaev, the student ombudsman of Almaty city Adilkhan Tolepbergen, the chairman of the youth wing of the Khalyk Partiyasy Zhanabi Kozhakmetov, as well as representatives from the Youth Policy Department of Almaty city.
After the official part and the announcement of the winner – this year it was the team from the School of Law and Public Administration – the entertainment program began. Students were greeted with numerous contests and games that created an atmosphere of fun and joy.
The climax of the evening featured performances by Kairat Nurtas and the hip-hop group 6ELLUCCI, as well as a disco with DJ SLIM and MC Tanat.
Narxoz Commencement 2024 became not just a ceremonial event but also a symbol of the beginning of a new chapter in the lives of first-year students. Gifts, performances, support from sponsors, and a rich program made this evening truly unforgettable.
