Demo Day: A Celebration of Young Entrepreneurs and Their Successes

On December 18, Narxoz University hosted Demo Day, the culmination of a three-month entrepreneurial training program for students. The event brought together 140 participants from the Narxoz Business Club, giving them the opportunity to showcase their business projects to a wide audience and an expert panel.
Demo Day was the result of the combined efforts of the Student Affairs Office, EYBD (Unified Youth Business Directorate), and Upgrade School, who invested significant effort into preparing future startup founders. Students learned the theory and practice of creating startups, worked on ideas and projects under the guidance of experienced mentors and entrepreneurs.
The program was packed with lectures, workshops, and individual consultations, allowing participants to gain valuable knowledge and build confidence in themselves as future entrepreneurs. The participants' projects were evaluated by leading experts:
Sanat Sataev, Vice-Provost for Operational Activities and Social-Educational Work at Narxoz University;
Yermek Kazim, founder of Qazaq Republic;
Temirlan Berkimbaev, head of Upgrade School;
●Mentors from Upgrade School.
Out of the presented ideas, 10 best projects made it to the finals, reflecting the students' creative approach to solving current issues.

  1. The Flowwe Dance School – Abilay Utepbergenov.
  2. Steppe and Stone – Matvey Patenko.
  3. LUSETTA – Yersultan Kuramys.
  4. ITEQ – Saya Akpekova.
  5. Cash and Glam – Adilkhan Bagdatov.
  6. Layiq – Yersultan Kopbolsyn.
  7. Recyglass – Artem Kuzurman.
  8. Oyu Jangyry – Almakhan Altynai.
  9. Device.kz – Yersultan Kuramys.
  10. SchoolPro – Madiyar Karibzhanov.
After intensive presentations and discussions, three winners were determined:
• 1st place – Recyglass: a glass recycling project focused on ecology and sustainable development.
• 2nd place – SchoolPro: a platform for preparing students for exams.
• 3rd place – ITEQ: a solution for automating IT processes.
Demo Day was not only an opportunity for students to showcase themselves but also a platform for future growth. The winners received recognition and valuable prizes to help them develop their ideas. All participants will continue to receive support from the program's mentors and partners.
Demo Day is just the beginning of a long journey. The event demonstrated that Narxoz students are ready to create innovative projects capable of making the world a better place.
