Expert-Analytical Club of the National Bank Held a Meeting at Narxoz University

On January 21, Narxoz University hosted a meeting of the Expert-Analytical Club of the National Bank of Kazakhstan on the topic: “Presentation of the National Bank’s Macroprudential Policy and Research Findings on the Stability of Kazakhstan’s External Sector.”
The event brought together representatives from the expert and academic communities, second-tier banks, the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan, as well as officials from the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market of Kazakhstan and the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of Kazakhstan.
This is the second time such an event has been held in this format, reaffirming the effectiveness of expert and academic dialogue and fostering lively discussions.
"I would like to emphasize the importance of academic community involvement. This collaboration allows us to share practical insights while gaining valuable analytical and research materials," noted Akylzhan Baimagambetov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the National Bank of Kazakhstan presented its vision and approaches to the formation, implementation, and communication of macroprudential policy, along with research findings on the stability of the country’s external sector.

With the support of the National Bank and the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, the Applied Finance master’s program has been successfully implemented at Narxoz Business School. Over the past 20 years, this program has trained more than 750 financial analysts, risk managers, macroeconomic analysts, and actuaries. Notably, 100% of graduates secure employment within the first three months after completing the program.
