Winter Student’s Festival: Student Organizations from Almaty Universities Shared Their Experience

On February 14, 2025, as part of the Year of Vocational Professions, one of the most significant events in the student life of Almaty – Winter Student’s Festival – took place at Narxoz University. The event introduced a new format for engaging youth, bringing together students from Narxoz and representatives from other universities.
The festival featured presentations of various projects and startups developed by Narxoz University students and partner participants. An interactive zone, organized by the Narxoz team student organization, allowed attendees to take part in contests, mini-games, and other activities.
Special emphasis was placed on showcasing new forms of creative expression, fostering creative exchange, and strengthening inter-university collaboration. The stage was filled with performances by creative teams from Narxoz and guest participants from other Almaty universities. A special highlight of the program was the performance by the Grow Up student organization, which created an unforgettable atmosphere.
During the closing part of the event, the organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and guests, as well as to partner universities whose students made a significant contribution to the organization and execution of the festival, particularly:
  • Turan University – for organizing a vibrant performance by the Turan Trumps dance group;
  • Gumarbek Daukeev AUES – for the modern choreographic performances by the ADC group;
  • KazGASA – for the high-quality musical performance by Live Band Saulet.
We sincerely thank the festival guests, as well as the Grow Up and Narxoz team student organizations, for their invaluable contribution to the event’s success.
The Winter Student’s Festival has proven to be an important platform for fostering the creative potential of young people and an effective tool for uniting students from different universities and cities. We are confident that this format will become a tradition and contribute to the further development of an innovative educational environment.
