On January 28, 2025, Narxoz University and the Samruk-Kazyna Trust Social Projects Fund signed a memorandum of cooperation. Samruk-Kazyna Trust is the sole charity operator of the Samruk-Kazyna group of companies, implementing major social projects and programs in Kazakhstan by attracting resources from national companies: Among its well-known initiatives are projects providing assistance to regions affected by last year’s floods in Kazakhstan, the development of an inclusive urban environment, the opening of two centers for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and others. Since its establishment in 2016, the Fund has implemented 375 social projects, benefiting more than 1.85 million people.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Fund’s General Director, Alfiya Adiyeva, and the President of Narxoz University, Kanat Kozhakhmet.

As part of the memorandum, students of the "Social Work" educational program from the Higher School of Arts and Social Sciences at Narxoz University will have the opportunity to complete internships at Samruk-Kazyna Trust. This will enable them to develop skills in evaluating the effectiveness of social projects, their implementation, and monitoring. Narxoz University aims to train a new generation of professional social sector managers in Kazakhstan. This memorandum strengthens the partnership between the educational institution and the country's leading social projects fund, opening new prospects for long-term and productive cooperation.
