Graduation Ceremony for MBA "Actuary" Graduates Held at Narxoz Business School

On February 28, 2025, a solemn graduation ceremony took place in the assembly hall of Narxoz University for the graduates of the MBA "Actuary" program at Narxoz Business School. This year, 13 students successfully completed their studies and were awarded the academic degree of MBA.
The "Applied Finance" program significantly contributes to the sustainable development of education and strengthens partnerships with the National Bank of Kazakhstan and the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, with whom Narxoz University has been collaborating for more than 20 years.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Narxoz University, Bulat Mukushev, congratulated the graduates on this important milestone, emphasizing that they had undergone a challenging yet meaningful journey: "The success of each graduate is the success of the entire university, and the bond with their alma mater will remain strong and significant throughout their careers".
Independent Board Member Maksim Kiselev highlighted that graduates not only gain knowledge but also become carriers of values that will guide them throughout their lives.
Honorary Lecturer of the MBA "Actuary" educational program, Akzharkyn Knykova, noted the high level of preparation and diligence demonstrated by the graduates.
"This program was developed with the support of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, the Insurance Payments Guarantee Fund, and leading experts in Kazakhstan’s insurance market. The graduates have acquired not only academic knowledge but also practical support from the professional community. Actuaries are highly qualified specialists who assess the financial risks and liabilities of insurance companies. The graduates of the MBA 'Actuary' program have officially joined the actuary community of Kazakhstan and will be able to make a significant contribution to the development of the country’s insurance market," shared Akzharkyn Knykova.
Marina Obraztsova, Director of Narxoz Business School, emphasized that the MBA "Actuary" program is the only one of its kind in Kazakhstan: "Graduates have become exclusive specialists whose knowledge and skills will be in high demand. Narxoz University is proud of its graduates and is confident that they, in turn, will take pride in their alma mater."
Narxoz Business School, in turn, strives to provide graduates with opportunities for continuous professional growth. Currently, the business school has around 200 students enrolled in MBA, Executive MBA, and DBA programs. In February, a new cohort was launched in Astana, and there are future plans to expand programs in Shymkent and the western regions of Kazakhstan. Additionally, the construction of an innovative business school building is actively underway, and its doors will always be open to students and alumni.
We wholeheartedly congratulate the MBA "Actuary" graduates and wish them great success in their professional careers!
