Narxoz University entered the prestigious “THE University Impact Rankings 2020”

On April 22, the World Agency "Times Higher Education" announced the results of "University Impact Ranking-2020". The rating is dedicated to 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals with a implementation period of up to 2030. It was created to assess the contribution of world universities to the achievement of these goals.

It should be noted that Narxoz University participates in the ranking for the first time and has registered 401+ place. Our university has made a report on the contribution to the implementation of the following goals:
SDG 3: Ensuring healthy lifestyles and promoting well-being – 401+
SDG 4: Ensure quality education and promote learning opportunities for all – 401+
SDG 5: Gender equality, empowerment – 301+
SDG 7: Ensure access to up-to-date sources – 301+

SDG 8: Promoting sustainable economic growth – 301+
SDG 9: Build strong infrastructure, promote industrialization and innovation – 401+
SDG 16: Promoting peaceful societies, ensuring access to justice and accountability – 201+
SDG 17: Strengthening the global partnership for sustainable development – 301+

This year, 767 universities from 85 countries are included in the prestigious Times Higher Education ranking. The performance indicators of the university, its management, research and achievement of sustainable development goals were evaluated. In addition to Narxoz University, Almaty Management University entered the Impact Ranking among Kazakhstani universities
