In 2020, the Republican Subject Olympiad "Leader – financier of the 21st century" was held online on the topic "Formation of the financial and credit paradigm: new realities and new opportunities".
4th year students of the specialty "Finance" of Narxoz University Shcherbakova Sofia, Kusain Nazerke, Medetova Lyudmila took an active part in this event and took the first place among universities of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Project topic: Investment activity of the Unified National Pension Fund of Kazakhstan and its
modernization.
The students presented an analysis of the current state of the UAPF, in particular the assets of the fund.
The students evaluated the investment activity and its impact on the formation of the fund's resources. Much interest was aroused by the widely discussed model of early withdrawal of pension assets, the consequences of the operation of the UAPF for the future generation.
Within the framework of the Republican subject Olympiad, two rounds were provided: a quiz on
disciplines (answers to questions) and the defense of scientific projects.
In the format of the Briefing and the Blitz tournament, the students showed high theoretical and practical training in their specialty, the ability to work in a team and defend their own point of view.
