Dear friends!
We are happy to welcome you at Narxoz Student Research. Science is like a living organism - never stands still, but grows and evolves creating new knowledge and discoveries every day. Our goal is to involve students in the evolutionary process of science and contribute to its development.

Here you will find detailed information about research events and science competitions that students of Narxoz University take part in. We are open to new ideas and suggestions, each of you can share your projects with us and always find support in the Research Department (R&D) at:, the building of ULK-2, office. #3 and #13.

Student of Narxoz University won a scholarship from Nursultan Nazarbayev's foundation

Anastasia Skoptsova - Student of 4th course of the Research and Education Department of "Management and Marketing" won the scholarship from the Nursultan Nazarbayev's foundation!

From May 25 to September 5 2020, the Nursultan Nazarbayev's fund held a students scholarship accepting applications from students from all over the country.

The main selection criteria were:

- successful completion of at least two grading courses,

- the maximum GPA,

- active participation in social, research and public activities.

Congratulations to Anastasia and wish you further success in her studies and career!

The Research Department opens the submission of scientific articles for the Narxoz Student Research-2021 conference, which will be held on March 11, 2021. We invite Narxoz University students from undergraduate and graduate programs from all departments to participate.

Article requirements:
Research article text in .doc, .docx format (max. 2000 words)
Abstract (in three languages, no more than 150 words)
References (at least 10 references formatted in APA style)
Information about yourself (name, position, place of work)
Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line interval - 1.5

Submission deadline is on February 12, 2021 (includes). Articles should be sent to with the title "Narxoz Student Conference 2021"

All works will be checked for plagiarism and reviewed. Articles that have received positive feedback from the reviewer will be allowed to publish.

We invite you to publish in a special issue of the "Central Asian Economic Review" magazine published by Narxoz University.

This special issue will be dedicated to the Creative economy.

The deadline for submission of your articles has been extended to 1 November 2020.

The magazine is included in the list of publications recommended by COXON and is indexed in the eLibrary database.

Lead Free Week

Narxoz University students participated in the International Lead Poisoning Prevention Week (October 25-31, 2020)organizedby the respectful institutions such as WHO and the Global Alliance to Eliminate Lead Paint (GAELP).

On October 26, a webinar "Lead in paints and varnishes: for human health and sustainable development" was organized for students of 2, 3, 4 courses of the EP ()"Ecology" of the NarxozUniversity with the assistance of the "Greenwomen" Analytical Environmental Agency and the IPEN Coordination Center. Also, representatives of Russian government agencies, industry, non-governmental and international organizations, experts took a part in the event.

They discussed the importance of the transition to the production and use of lead-free paint, the current state of affairs on the development of technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) "On the safety of paints and varnishes", as well as its implementation by other EAEU member states.

As part of the student science development program, the Research Department completed the first cycle of webinars for students of the SSC and the Students Research Club. The speakers at this event were: Aigerim Raimzhanova (PhD, Deputy Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs) and Andrey Shenin (PhD, Head of Research Department). They shared with young researchers how to write a literature review effectively and where to look for quality references. Upon completion of the webinars, the students prepared articles, the best of which were selected for publication in the VII collection of the International Scientific and Practical Conferences "Science and Education in the Modern World: Challenges of the XXI Century". Congratulations to the following winners: Aisha Onbaeva, Kristina Ryabova, Azel Zhuman, Darya Pokhorukova, Dilyarа Samarbekova and Viktoria Mergenkulova.

The Student Research Club held its first event on the topic "Science: Interesting, Easy, Profitable" in September. Event was organized with the assistance / support of the Research Department and the Dean's office for the work with the students. More than 30 people gathered online and offline to learn more about opportunities in science. The head of the Research department Andrey Shenin and the participant of international conferences Khegai Alina was pleased to share their experience. The speakers informed on the benefits of science and funding opportunities. Moreover, they shared effective tips on conducting research. During the event, branded prizes of the Narxoz University were raffled among the participants. Club meetings will be held on a regular basis on online platforms or in a narrow format, taking into account all sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

"Doctorate" educational department launches a series of scientific seminars.

In the new academic year, "Doctorate" educational departmenthas launched a series of monthly scientific seminars at which doctoral students present research plans, intermediate results, and also receive feedback and comments from professors and experts. Seminars are available for doctoral students from all over the country and are intended to become a discussion platform for the exchange of experience in conducting scientific research and performing a doctoral dissertation.

At the first seminar on September 25, doctoral students of the «Public Administration»programAigerimKussainkyzy and GaukharKenzhegulova, who conduct research in the development of gender policy in Kazakhstan. As part of her work, Gaukhar explores the issues of the involvement of women volunteers in the development and formation of the institution of palliative care in Kazakhstan, while Aigerim's work focuses on the analysis of state programs to attract women to innovative spheres of the economy.

The seminar was attended by doctoral students, scientific consultants, teachers of the educational department "Public Administration", as well as heads of the Research department of Narxoz University.
