The Student Science - A Source of New Ideas

In order to promote student science, stimulate teamwork and creative activities of students, and foster active critical thinking, the annual student scientific-practical conference "Narxoz Student Research" took place on March 12, 2024. At this platform, students had the opportunity to present the results of their scientific research, gain new ideas for research development, and exchange opinions.
Over 100 students and postgraduates of the University presented their papers for participation in the event. Based on expert evaluations, 20 best works were selected for presenting scientific results.
The conference was opened by the Advisor to the President of Narxoz University, S. Umirzakov. In his welcoming speech, he noted that student science at the university is developing dynamically: students are actively involved in implementing scientific projects and publishing articles in Scopus journals.
The papers presented in the plenary and sectional parts of the event received high expert ratings. During the plenary session of the conference, a third-year student of the educational program "Statistics and Data Science", Darizhan Symbat, addressed the current issues of public transport development. Second-year students of the "Psychological Counseling" program, Zarina Sekenova, Oksana Nikulshina, and Anna Fedorova, presented the results of a sociological study aimed at examining the relationship between parent-child relationships and the development of adolescent alcoholism. A second-year master's student in the "Ecology" program, Aisina A., shared the results of a study on soil ecological conditions analysis. A third-year student of the "Accounting and Audit" program, Zhanaozakova O., presented a paper analyzing corporate income tax. The students' presentations sparked lively discussions and exchanges of opinions.
In the section "Sustainable Development of the State and Society", a fourth-year student of the "Tourism" program, Bektur Matemirov, presented an analysis of the impact of equestrian festivals on sustainable tourism development.
A group of third-year students from the "Tourism and Hospitality" program, consisting of Temirlan Erkin, Meruert Esbergenova, and Andrey Rakovsky, in the section "Economic Development of the Country", focused their attention on analyzing the target audience consuming "Kinder" brand products.
In the section "Information Technologies and Digitalization", special interest was drawn to the work carried out by a fourth-year student of the "Software Engineering" program, Sultan Mukashev. He examined the use of Big Data in the educational process and expressed the idea of the need for wider implementation of CRM systems in various fields dealing with big data.
During the conference, participants had the opportunity to present the results of their research and exchange opinions within sections dedicated to economic development of the country, sustainable development of the state and society, as well as information technologies and digitalization. Active discussions took place, contributing to drawing conclusions and developing solutions to current socio-economic issues.
The conference results will be reflected in a collection of materials that will include student works that have undergone expert evaluation.
