About the University
Narxoz is a center of attraction for talented youth and one of the leaders in training specialists with management competencies in economics, business, law, IT and social sciences in Central Asia.
Being one of the oldest universities in Kazakhstan, for more than 60 years of history, Narxoz has produced about 150 thousand graduates holding the highest government positions and positions of top managers in leading companies countries.

In 2022, the university building was completely reconstructed, making the new Narxoz campus one of the best in Central Asia.
Dormitory
The university has 4 dormitories*, with a total capacity of more than 1000 students. Each dormitory building has a kitchen, lounges, sports rooms, showers and laundry rooms, equipped with modern appliances - washing machines and dryers, ironing boards and irons.
Construction of the fourth dormitory will be completed in August 2024
How to get a grant?
Every year Narxoz holds an international Olympiad for foreign students, the best of whom get the opportunity of free education for all 4 years.
To participate in the Olympiad, you need:
1st round
Write an essay in English on one of the following topics:
1. The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recall a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience?
2. Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma - anything of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution.
3. Discuss an achievement, event, or implementation that sparkled a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others.
4. When you choose a university, you join a new community of people who have different backgrounds, experiences, and stories. What is it about your background and your experiences that will enrich Narxoz University's community?
5. Tell us about a place or community you call home. How has it shaped your perspective?
6. Please briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities or work experiences that was particularly meaningful to you.
2nd round
Participation in interviews with the University expert group.
The essay must be sent to fbl @ narxoz . kz until June 17, 2024.
Period: from June 24, 2024
The submission of essays for the first stage will end on June 17 at 11:59 PM.
