Dr. Jennifer Verdolin
Dr. Jennifer Verdolin holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolution from Stony Brook University and is an internationally recognized expert in animal behavior. Her research centers on social dynamics, disease transmission in wildlife, and applied conservation. Dr. Verdolin was a Fulbright Scholar in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in southwestern Uganda in 2022-2023, where she is currently conducting research on the endangered mountain gorilla. She has published over 25 scientific publications and written two popular science books. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, BBC Focus, Arizona Highways, and on BBC, NPR, and National Geographic.
