Narxoz is unlike any university – its world-class facilities, dynamic environment, and intellectually curious community set it apart from the rest. I have had the privilege of spending a year at Narxoz, working as an English teacher and employee of the International Office. My experience in Almaty has exceeded all expectations – I have fallen in love with the mountains, bonded with my kind-hearted coworkers, and forged personal connections with my students who approach class with maturity, dedication, and an open-mind. Narxoz has fostered tremendous personal and professional growth, and I am forever indebted to the people who have made my experience a resounding success.
  • Henry Kuvin
Teaching at Narxoz this past year has been the experience of a lifetime. I have had the opportunity to connect with students and faculty from around the country and region, learned about culture and tradition, and grown as an individual. With help from the international office at the university, I have felt nothing short of welcomed and accepted here from the start. The administration, along with the students, are top-tier and demonstrate the best qualities that belong in a state of the art institution. Additionally, Almaty itself is a lovely place to live. There is always something happening whether it be in the mountains or in the city. The people, food, and hospitality here truly make it a special place to be. I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience here, sharing laughs and lessons, and look forward to keeping in touch with all of those who have made my time here so special.
