You can clarify all information on admission to Narxoz University in the Department of Recruiting and Admission (Admissions Committee)

The admission of foreign citizens to study at higher educational institutions on a paid basis is carried out in the form of an interview or an entrance test conducted by the University's Admissions Committee. At the same time, foreign citizens who graduated from educational institutions on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan or abroad enter the paid department of the university on the basis of an interview or an entrance exam.

• Application for admission, according to the online form

• document on general secondary, technical and vocational, after secondary or higher education (original) with a notarized translation into Kazakh (state) and / or Russian;

• passport and its copy with a notarized translation into Kazakh (state) and / or Russian;

• 6 photographs measuring 3 x 4 centimeters;

• medical certificate in the form 075-U (with a photograph of fluorography), made in Kazakhstan;

• application form of a foreign applicant (application form for foreign students)

What needs to be done

  • Before arriving in Almaty and entering the Narxoz University, you need to complete the following steps:

    1 - Choose a specialty and language of instruction. Read more information on admission.

    2 - Send an application to the email address - admission@narxoz.kz.

    3 - Take an online interview

    4 - Pay the 1st tranche of the tuition fee.

    5 - Book a hostel.

    ● In order to book a hostel, you must pay 100% of the annual cost of the hostel;

    ● The hostel can be booked upon arrival, but the number of places is limited. (More about the hostel)

    ● If you arrive outside of business hours, consider where you can stay.

    6 - Before arriving, do not forget the following original documents:

    ● Passport / Identity card of the applicant 9 (original for verification)

    ● Certificate of General Secondary Education / College Diploma

    ● Photo 3 * 4 - 6 items

    ● Receipts of payment for dormitory, tuition (if available)

    ● IELTS / TOEFL certificate (if available)

    ● Warrant for check-in (printed for exchange for the original at the admissions office)

    7 - Book your tickets in advance for arrival in Almaty.

    8 - Inform the manager of the admissions office the date of arrival, send tickets to the post office.

Attention! If you are under 18:


1 - you must come with a parent or guardian (with a supporting document) or a proxy (based on a notarized power of attorney)



2 - you can bring a contract signed in advance by your parents. (Original birth certificate / or document confirming guardianship for verification and a copy of the passport of the parents / guardians)

  • If you paid for and booked the hostel in advance and received an ORDER for checking into the hostel by mail, then:

    • you can stay in the hostel on the day of arrival (but according to the opening hours of the hostel) from August 20, 2020

    • you need to undergo a medical examination on the day of accommodation in the hostel)

    In case you have not confirmed your check-in, or arrive at the university before August 20, make sure that you have a place to stay before the start of check-in at the hostel.

  • 1 - Visit the office of the Admissions Office. To eliminate possible questions.

    2 - Apply to the Notary in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and notarize and translate the following documents:

    • copy of passport (2 copies)

    • a copy of the education document (2 copies).


    3 - Next, you need to obtain an ID (Individual Identification Number). To obtain an IIN you need:

    • Visit the PSC (Public Service Center), where you must write an application for obtaining an IIN, and provide a Notarized translation of a copy of your passport.


    4 - After receiving the ID, at the PSC you need to apply for the nostrification of the education document.

    • To submit, you need to hand over a notarized translation of a copy of the education document, fill out a questionnaire (which you will be given to the PSC);

    • After submitting this application, you will be issued a certificate that confirms that your documents are in the process of nostrification; SAVE THIS REFERENCE

    • The certificate that was given to you at the PSC must be handed over to the Admissions Office of Narxoz University in the original. (After the documents have passed nostrification, they must be submitted to the Office-Registrar of Narxoz University, no later than the end of the 1st semester); (Students who have not confirmed nostrification can be expelled before the 2nd semester).


    5 - Submit the originals of documents to the Admissions Office of Narxoz University:

    • Notarized translation of a copy of the passport made in the RK Certificate from the Public Service Center (Public Service Center) on the submission of an education document for nostrification

    • Notarized translation of a copy of the education document made in the Republic of Kazakhstan

    • Help form - 075-U (made in KZ)

    • A snapshot of fluorography (made in KZ)

    • Photo 3 * 4 (6 items)

    • copies of the receipt of payment for the hostel and tuition.

    6 - Sign a contract.

    7 – Check-in at the hostel (from 20 August)

Attention! If you are under 18:

1 - you must come with a parent or guardian (with a supporting document) or a proxy (based on a notarized power of attorney) to sign the contract.

2 - you can bring a contract signed in advance by your parents and the following documents: original birth certificate / or document confirming guardianship for verification and a copy of the parents

Attention! Without ID, you will not be able to get an ID card of the Narxoz University (ID card: the opportunity to enter the territory of the educational building of Narxoz University; use all resources on the territory of Narxoz University; entrance to the Narxoz University dormitory, for residents of the hostel; benefits when visiting cinemas, museums, entertainment centers etc)
