Professor Ewan Simpson, PhD, a native of Scotland, is the founding Dean of Narxoz University's School of Digital Technologies. Prior to that, he was the founding Dean of both the School of Society, Technology and the Environment (2019), the School of Law and Social Sciences (2018) and the Acting Dean of Business (2019) at Narxoz.
Before joining Narxoz University, Professor SImpson held various teaching and executive positions at KIMEP University (2004-2014) and was Dean of the Business Faculty of the Kazakh-British Technical University (2014-2018). In his sixteen years of study in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, he developed a deep understanding of the functioning of the economy and society, the fundamental importance of adoption of high technology to drive socioeconomic development and the key role of high-quality higher education for the future of the country.
All of this is based on the Dean's experience as a researcher of economic and urban development at the University of Glasgow (1993-2004). Ewan completed his doctoral dissertation in 1999 on the management of partnerships for city development. In addition, his research and consulting activities have focused on technology and entrepreneurship, smart city development, the development of the knowledge-based and creative economies, in addition to various cluster mapping activities focused on aerospace, metallurgy, information technology and the video games industry. Throughout his career, research has focused on the interface of the development and adoption of technology to accelerate business development, regional growth and national socio economic development.
Ewan is also an experienced teacher and trainer, well versed in programming for a variety of audiences. The Dean continues to teach from undergraduate to senior executive students and has also provided leadership training in Central Asia, Africa, Asia and the UK.
PhD in Education (University of Edinburgh), holds a Master's degree in International Relations (University of Bristol). Assem has extensive international experience working at universities in Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom and the United States. She is also the author of more than 10 publications in the field of higher Education and International Politics. At the moment, Assem is also a Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs.
In 2001 Laura Maratovna defended her thesis on the "Mathematical modeling of the functioning of the national currency in the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan". She also successfully defended her doctoral dissertationin a field of Systematic modelling of regional financial centers (based on the data of Almaty), Mathematics and instrumental methods of economics. She has completed international internships at the following universities: Kyungpook National University, Daegu (Education System of South Korea: Procpects, Cooperation and Development), Republic of Korea; National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, India (Modern education Technology). Laura Maratovna is NAAR expert, expert in providing services for conducting economic expertise in JSC "Science Foundation" since 2017.
Research interests of Laura Baitenova are theory and methodology of mathematical modeling of economic processes and systems; mathematical modeling and the use of information technologies in socio-economic research, programming, forecasting and management. She is the author of more than 170 scientific papers, including 3 monographs, about 20 textbooks, articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals, 8 publications are included in Scopus (1-3 quartiles) and in WoS. Laura Maratovna was repeatedly awarded for personal contribution to professional training, education of students and success in work at the University level and the Republic of Kazakhstan: winner of the "Best University teacher" in 2014, the title "Honorary worker of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan" in 2014, the appreciation letter from MES RK, 2020.
Astaubayeva Gulnar Nurbapayevna successfully defended her PhD thesis in Mathematical and instrumental methods of economics in 2010. Gulnar has been teaching since 2000. Associate professor Astaubayeva is a bilingual tutor, who teaches in Russian and Kazakh. The author of more than 40 scientific and methodical works, including 1 study guide ("Internet Applications"), 3 scientific articles with zero impact factor in the Scopus database, 20 scientific articles in journals recommended by CCFES of the MES, but also has a number of publications in leading journals of Kazakhstan and in the proceedings of the international conferences. Gulnar Nurbapayevna teaches in the following disciplines: "Oracle Database: Fundamentals of SQL", "Oracle Database: Software module development and administration", "Web Technologies", "Computer applications in Business", "Internet Application Development", etc.
In 2011 Zhauhar Zhurgenovna took the position of associate Professor of Instrument engineering, metrology and information-measuring devices and systems specialty. Zhauhar Zhurgenovna has 21 years of overall scientific and pedagogical experience

Bakytzhan Orazaliyevich graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University with a degree in Physics, Advanced Mathematics in 2001. After acquiring of bachelor degree he enrolled to the master's program at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in Mechanics. After completing his master's degree in 2003 he enrolled to the post-graduate program of the RSE "Center of Earth Sciences, Metallurgy and Enrichment". In 2007 he defended his thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences. Now he is an associate professor of the “Information Systems and Statistics" program. He has more than 50 publications in Kazakhstan and foreign publications. He completed an internship under the Bolashak program, language courses at the University of East Anglia (6 months), and an internship in information processes management at the University of Castilla laMancha (6 months).
Dmitry Kim, Ph. D., specialist in probability theory and mathematical statistics, graduated from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, then completed master's and postgraduate studies at NSU, held a postdoctoral position at Heriot-Watt University. Dmitry started teaching in 2002 and since then has worked in a number of educational, IT and research organizations, has experience in the commercialization of scientific research. His research interests, along with theoretical research, include applications of probabilistic and statistical methods for modeling complex systems, risk theory, and the integration of RES into the energy system. Author of more than 20 publications, co-author of 1 monograph and 1 patent. Research supervisor and team member for about 20 research grants.
Candidate of Sociological sciences, associate professor. In 2010, she successfully defended her PhD thesis at the L. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. In 2013-2014, she took language courses at Brunel University (London). Aigul Zhumahanovna completed a research internship under the Bolashak program at the University of Castile-La Mancha (Toledo, Spain). She was awarded with an IELTS certificate and numerous international internship certificates. 
In 2014-2016, she participated in the international project “UNIWORK”: "Strengthening Career Centers in Central Asian Universities to empower graduates". She has more than 30 scientific articles published, including 2 scientific articles with a non-zero impact factor in the Scopus and Web of Science database, 30 scientific articles in publications recommended by the CCFES, 2 scientific articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals of foreign countries, 1 textbook recommended by the Republican Educational and Methodological Council, 1 methodological guideline for performing laboratory work.
In 1999 Lyailya Muratbekovna entered the postgraduate course of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, majoring in Computational Mathematics. On June 26, 2002, she defended her PhD thesis in Computational Mathematics. In 2004-2006, she worked as the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of the Physics and Mathematics department of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. In 2006, Lyailya Muratbekovna worked as a Dean of Academic Affairs at the T. Ryskulov Kazakh University of Economics, Faculty of Engineering and Economics. Until 2009-2020, she worked as an associate professor of the EP "Information Systems and Statistics" at the Narxoz University. Published more than 120 scientific papers (abroad, CCFES, Scopus), published 1 monograph, 5 textbooks.

Master of Information Systems. Azamat Rakhimovich has been working at the Narxoz University since 2017, with a total teaching experience of 12 years. In 2000, he graduated with honors from Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov with a degree in Mathematics, and then from KazNTU named after K. I. Satpayev with a master's degree in Information Systems. Azamat Rakhimovich repared students for the ACM Programming World Championship 2003-2009 / 2017-2019. He was awarded the diploma of KazNTU for the preparation of the students-champions team of Kazakhstan ACM 2007. In 1996 Tolkyn Shabdenbekovna graduated from the Physics and Mathematics faculty of the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University with a degree in Mathematics and Computer science. In 1998 she graduated from the master's program of the named university with a degree in mathematics. In 1998, she worked in the Department of "Information Technologies" of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and from 1999 to 2004 - in the center of "New Technologies in Urban Education" as a "chief specialist". Since 2004, she has been working as a senior lecturer in the EP "Information Systems and Statistics" at Narxoz University. More than 30 scientific and methodological articles have been published in various international publications included in the CCFES of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including 2 textbooks: "Databases in Information Systems", "Languages and programming methods". In 2001 Gulnar Sailaubayevna graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh State National University with a degree in Applied Mathematics. She has been teaching since 2002. Author of more than 140 scientific papers with a total volume of 70.5 printed, including 4 textbooks ("Laboratory practice in Computer Science and tasks on SRSP", "Computer Science: Test questions for the exam and for boundary control", "Computer Modeling", "Computer Circuitry"). Gulsim Kadyrovna’s works have been published in the cited journals of the Scopus databases (the Hirsch index in the Scopus database – 1, in the RSCI database – 1), as well as a number of publications in leading journals abroad, the Higher Attestation Commission of Kazakhstan, the materials of international conferences. Sagitova G. K. is the winner of the "The best teacher of KazEU named after T. Beken Baktybekovich is one of the leading teachers in the field of statistics, has high professional skills in teaching in Russian and Kazakh languages. He is the author of more than 65 scientific and methodological works. Participated in the development of the state standard for the specialty "Statistics" (bachelor's and master's degree) in 2004 and 2009, is the author of standard curricula of disciplines of bachelor's, master's and doctoral studies. During 2013-2018 Beken Baktybekovich has headed the educational and methodological sub-section on the specialty Statistics of the Educational and Methodological Association of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council for the "Social Sciences, Economics and business" group of specialties of higher and postgraduate education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of Narxoz University. In 2002-2007, he actively participated in the UNDP project in Kazakhstan to promote the idea of the concept of human development and to develop a textbook and teaching materials for the "Human development in Kazakhstan”course. In 2007-2009 he was a participant of the UNFPA project on the development of demographic education in Kazakhstan. In 2014 he developed a Russian-Kazakh Terminology Dictionary (Statistics, Standardization, and Intellectual Property) with a team of co-authors.
Sabira Mutkarimovna is the winner of the "The best teacher of JSC" Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulov grant by the results of 2013. She was awarded diplomas of KazEU, NEU in the "The best university textbook", "The most popular textbook in the Kazakh language" categories for the textbooks "Statistics" and "Statistics theory". She is the author of 17 textbooks and teaching aids. She has published more than 70 scientific papers. Participated in research projects of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Kazakhstan to promote the idea of the concept of human development (2002-2007), the World Bank "Partnership Strategy with Kazakhstan" (2004-2008), UNFPA on the development of demographic education in Kazakhstan (2007-2009), was part of the "Demographic forecast of the Republic of Kazakhstan: main trends, challenges, practical recommendations" research project (2013-2014). She also participated in the development of the state standard for the "Statistics" specialty (bachelor's and master's degrees) in 2004 and 2009. Sabira Mutkarimovna is the author of Standard Curricula for the of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees disciplines in Statistics. Moreover, shehas prepared winners of competitions of research and creative works of students at the national level.
DBA, Aigul Amzebekovna graduated from the T. Ryskulov Kazakh University of Economics, acquired a master's and doctoral degrees. She participated in the various commissions of the University for the organization and conduct of events, including the Republican R & D and RSDO in Statistics as part of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan commission. Aigul Amzebekovna has published more than 30 scientific articles, educational and methodological developments, as well as “Statistics. Fundamentals of the course” textbook.She was awarded "Algys Hat" , a letter of gratitude from the Federal Service of the State Statistics Service of Russia, certificates of honor from the Narxoz University and "Kurmet" diploma for her contribution to the development of professional training of highly qualified personnel for the Republic of Kazakhstan and active participation in the public life of the University.
In 2000, Aliya Ersayinovna graduated from the Taraz State University named after M. H. Dulati with a degree in Economics and Environmental Management with the qualification of "Economist". She started her career as an assistant accountant at the Center Credit Bank (2001-2002). Her teaching experience has started in 2002 in the Kazakh National Agrarian University at the department of "Accounting and Audit". Since September 2017, he has been working at the IS and Statistics educational program as a senior lecturer. Alya Yersayinovna has professional skills of teaching in Russian and Kazakh languages. Zhanat Abluzovna
In 2001 Zhanat Abluzovna graduated from the Al-Farabi Kazakh State University with a degree in Mathematics with the qualification "Teacher of Mathematics", then in 2003 she completed a master's and received a degree in mechanics. In 2019, she completed her doctoral studies at Narxoz University with a degree in Economics. She has been teaching since 2002. Kanagat Smakovich
Kanagat Smakovich has been teaching since 1983. Since September 2019, Kanagat has been working on the educational program "Informational Systems and Statistics" as an associate professor. He is one of the leading teachers of the department, has high professional skills of teaching not only in Russian, but also in Kazakh. Moreover, he is the author of 140 scientific papers, including 2 textbooks without co-authorship: "Information systms: textbook. Uandykova Mafura Kusmanova, Ph. D., Mafura Kusmanovna has 36 years of teaching experience. Research interests: Econometric analysis of economic processes, economic and mathematical modeling, data analysis, mathematical problems of regional innovative development and project management, information analysis of business projects. The results of scientific research are reflected in more than 100 works, including 5 textbooks without co-authorship and 1 textbook with a team of authors. For the last 3 years published more than 30 publications totaling more than 40, including collective monograph with foreign authors, articles in peer-reviewed scientific publications, some affiliated to Ministry of education and science, 6 publications included in Scopus (quartiles 1-3) and WoS. Mafura was a supervisor/team member of 3 research projects, including foreign ones. Recognized as the "Best University teacher -2012". Mafura was the winner of the grant of the international educational program "Bolashaq" two times.

Yelshibayeva Aigul Zeynollinovna
Yelshibayeva Aigul Zeynollinovna, senior lecturer, graduated from Al - Farabi Kazakh State National University in 1995 with a degree in Mathematics. Her teaching experience is more than 26 years. More than 40 scientific and educational works have been published. Conducts lectures and laboratory classes in the disciplines "Fundamentals of applied Mathematics" and "Econometrics", "Probability Theory and mathematical statistics", the creator of the online course on discipline "Mathematics in Economics".Organizer of the Young Analyst Club.
