Functions of the Council
- examines the most important issues of educational, scientific, educational, organizational and other activities of the School;
- approves the strategic development plan and the work plan of the scientific and administrative divisions of the School for the current academic year, analyzes their implementation;
- considers proposals for the opening of new specialties (directions) of training specialists, specializations, considers projects of basic educational programs, makes decisions on their approval, continuation of the implementation of basic educational programs, making adjustments to working curricula;
- recommends for election to the position of directors of School departments, conducts competitive selection for the positions of teachers and researchers and makes recommendations for awarding them academic titles;
- reviews the results of intermediate and final state attestations of students, makes recommendations to improve the quality of the organization of the educational process;
- approves the topics of students' final qualifying papers, state examination programs, analyzes the reports of the chairmen of the state attestation commissions, approves the plan of corrective and preventive measures to eliminate the shortcomings noted in the reports of the chairmen of the state attestation commissions;
- recommends admission to doctoral studies;
- other questions.
