Goal of the program
The goal of the program is to provide practice-oriented training of highly qualified specialists in the field of software development for innovative enterprises, technology companies, as well as to create conditions for continuous professional self-improvement, development of social and personal competencies of specialists, expanding social mobility and competitiveness in the labor market.
Program features
The proposed program is new for the market of Kazakhstan, as graduates will master the skills of designing the architecture of information system components, choose operating systems and methods of information protection, develop information and software, manage the stages of the life cycle of created software in the organization, create and research mathematical and software models of computing and information processes related to the functioning of objects of professional activity.
Strengths of the program:
1. This is an educational program that includes software development, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and new technologies.
2. Engineering education and training is aimed at the future: from basic knowledge, applications, prototyping or product development inside and outside the classroom to creating innovations using project-based learning.
3. Adaptive methods in training and practical experience in design, manufacturing, assembling, installation and integration of computer equipment, software development.

Program structure

  • The volume of program curriculum is 246 ECTS credits, studied over 4 years. Unlike in traditional program layouts, our students dive into their professional disciplines from Year 1, while the study of general education component is spread out throughout the entire program length. Thanks to this, starting from Year 3 our students are already equipped to begin gaining some practical experience in their chosen profession.
