Research initiatives

SRCC has collaborated with NARXOZ GLOBAL to develop 10 Case Studies on Creative Entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan. This mega project will involve over 30 Narxoz students and 10 faculty members to develop the cases. The Cases are presented by 13 Narxoz students in NACRA 2021 Conference and Proceedings.

Almaty Creative Entrepreneurship Department has entrusted SRCC to develop a series of online programs for the promotion, development and training on Creative entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan. Based on the findings from the Creative Entrepreneurship Case Projects, we have developed five video modules (in Kazakh, English and Russian) which are now available online:

Lecture 2 - https://youtu.be/5vBbqpgJqB8

Lecture 3 - https://youtu.be/b896NG2f198

SRCC has developed and demonstrated Case Pedagogy to extend the Case Solving Pedagogy. Under the new pedagogy, students undertake field research, conduct organizational studies as coursework. Finally, they convert such coursework projects into publishable case studies. Coursework and Research/Publication therefore no longer are separate activities but are integrated within the curriculum. The new model has been developed through Action Research conducted at several core courses in Management at Narxoz. The model – that we names as COMBO model, has been presented to the management and faculty members of several national and international universities.
